Located on the charming cobbled high street in Guildford, Art & Grind is an independent art cafe that aims to bring out the artist in everyone. Our primary mission is to serve regional artists and the art-loving community with the opportunity to explore what art means to them while enjoying treats straight from the ovens of local bakeries, a light breakfast or lunch (homemade soups!) and exceptional roasted coffee sourced from Surrey-based Copper Coffee Roasters.

We also boast 20 different varieties of loose leaf tea brewed in your own personal pot to your desired strength, chai, matcha and ube as well as seasonal specials!

Our menu board is always showing the days specials including homemade soups and salads - our sandwiches are never made in advance, always fresh made for you with your choice of fillings, including vegan and GF options always at the ready.

Art & Grind is not merely a gallery or a coffee shop—it is a sanctuary for everyone who wants to immerse themselves friendly customer service in the heart of the Guildford High street surrounded by the local arts. Here, you soon can become a creator yourself, taking part in workshops and classes led by the very artists whose works adorn our walls. Or, you can pick up a brush, pen or other tool and explore your own artistic journey, unlocking hidden talents you may have never known existed before now.
